Since 2012, Evolution Systems have been built around the simple philosophy of using front facing, publicly available, user generated internet based content to determine broad range or demographic specific sentiment on present day subjects. Additionally, this same data can be used to determine future outcomes, trends, or events that may not yet be evident to the casual observer. While this may sound simple enough, the reality is that language and more specifically, the way language is used in context is a rather complex affair.

The “magic” behind the Evolution Systems is in their ability to determine contextual, applicable usage of language as it is used every day in normal conversation. By being able to extract “usage context” metrics, Evolution Systems are able to take phrases, key words, and entire complex linguistics structures and determine the overall net meaning/intent/sentiment of the content’s originator. What this provides in many instances, is an extremely accurate “snap shot” of either one or more demographic’s sentiment on a specific issue or set of issues. Additionally, Evolution Systems offer tremendous insight into “response messaging”. That is to say how to communicate effectively with a given demographic given the applicable language usage within a given social space, platform, etc.

As one might imagine, as time progresses, the volume and depth of internet based user generated content only expands. This provides ever larger data sets in which to process. What does that mean? More precise results and more consistent results.

Finally, in many but not all instances, future events, occurrences, and trends can be determined by extrapolating existing data into known macro social / macro economic / macro geopolitical trends. We refer to this as “end point / merger point” modeling. IE: Being able to determine the direction of a trend to the point that it results in a specific event or adds momentum / effect to an existing overarching sentiment / trend.

In addition to conventional ASCII / text generated content [social media / message board / website comment posts], Evolution Systems come fully equipped with a suite of OCR [optical code readers] / ACR meaning that user generated audio / video content can also be factored into any research we perform.

Yes, we know this is an important one as any data driven research must be cost effective otherwise it’s simply an academic effort. As such, we strive to work within the budget of all our clients to provide Evolution System’s signature insight without breaking the bank. 

Because each project is unique, generally speaking a SOW [scope of work] will be determined prior to any direct price quotations or estimates. After all, we have to know what it is our client is looking for before we can even begin to estimate operational time / reporting time, etc.

Additionally, in some instances [though these instances are becoming exceedingly rare], we simply cannot perform an effective data ingest to reporting cycle due to a lack of available front facing content. Thus, prior to each project, we do a series of preliminary data density / data depth scans to ensure that all client requested parameters can be met or exceeded. Please note that we do this at no cost to our clients / potential clients. 

Once a scope of work and depth of data / breadth of data metric can be established, we will provide a hard cost estimate to our clients for the analysis requested. Please note that this includes not only the research but reporting / presentation in the format / style of our clients choosing. 

In some instances we may perform multiple “runs” of the same reporting in order to refine specific metrics as per client request. We do so at no additional cost to our clients as it is included in each of our cost estimates.
